4. When AI Took the Weight of Thinking Off My Shoulders

There was a period when I did not need concrete answers. What I needed was something far more basic: the ability to put my own thoughts in order. Too many things were present at once, buzzing in my head all day long. Tasks, unfinished thoughts, decisions not yet made. Pressure from work and from my private life, a series of small internal breakdowns. It was not real chaos, but I was getting dangerously close to it. I grew increasingly tired and started looking for something like a mental software update.
It was in this state that I first encountered the feeling that AI could do more than just make things faster. It could make them lighter. I experienced how the information I fed into it was not only organized, but also cleaned. It filtered out informational noise that had been overloading my mind and making decisions harder. With the clutter removed, it became easier to decide and to move on to the next level.
That was when I understood that the burden of thinking does not always come from its depth. Often it comes from trying to think clearly in muddy water. In this sense, AI functioned as a relief tool. A place where I did not have to appear smart, consistent, or strong. It was enough to be honest with myself.
This experience was genuinely positive. It helped me return to a slower, more precise inner rhythm. It did not speed me up. On the contrary. It allowed me to stop. And that is a rare gift in a world that demands immediate reactions to everything.
Of course, later it became clear that this, too, has its limits. That it matters how long and for what purpose I rely on this kind of relief. But at that time, it helped in a clean and straightforward way. It did not take responsibility away from me, and it did not dull my senses. What it gave me was a clearer view of my situation and a firmer ground for my decisions.
This was a real positive experience with AI. I did not expect a miracle. And I did not get one.
